Senior Pastor
Pastor Ron became a Christian at 18 years of age and comes from a family of eight, the son of a West Virginia coal miner. Pastor Ron came to Michigan the day he graduated high school in June, 1968 and went to work immediately for Chrysler Corporation. During his thirty-eight year career at Chrysler Corporation, Pastor Ron worked several jobs including hourly production, toolmaker, toolroom supervisor, skilled trades trainer and coordinator and UAW-Chrysler Joint Programs manager. He began teaching Sunday School at an early age and continues to share his knowledge of the Bible during Bible Study at the church and when preaching. At this same time he began his full-time pastoral ministry, having served his first church for sixteen years. Pastor Ron was elected Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church of Armada in August of 2022 and is excited to continue serving the congregation at Calvary Baptist, the Village of Armada and the surrounding communities.
